Caleb's legs OR Caleb Takes A Nap OR Sleepers, assistants that sleep on the job

Today was really an incredible day of shooting. I was working on a promotional project for a local manufacturing company and I was super impressed with how genuinely great everyone working there seemed to be. There was a dude there who'd be working for them 41 years! And another dude 30 years. Amazing to me.

I can't wait for the project to be public so I can show some of these images...the film goes to the lab tomorrow and I can't wait to get it back. Cannot. Wait.

Caleb was there today helping me out. I left him alone for like 5 minutes and the jerk fell asleep. Pff!

(He was a great asset today, in all seriousness)

Today I shot again for my friend Emily's company. It required a freaking scissor lift. So this is me photographing two stories up teetering on some metal twigs.

Anyone know of non-profits or other groups helping people in or around Tokyo? I am headed there in June and I'd love to shoot while I'm there.

I've started a new set on flickr called People Sleeping. I found I take a lot of photographs of people sleeping, very often in public.


Who is bored by Electric Lion? What do you want to see? I know this is my blog and about what I do, or whatever, but I'm down for suggestions.


I still need to find Goals to execute.

I'm still wanting to be more transparent about what I'm shooting and thinking.

I'm trying to be a better person. That is a very hard goal.

i head up to my grandparents tomorrow for our everyone-born-in-august birthday lunch. my granddad just turned 87 and i am about to turn 29. we're just two of a few of august-ers.

anyway...in honor of that, here are my grandparents napping about as hardcore as one can. midday, opened mouthed, in front of everyone, occasionally snoring. brilliant.
