our "hosts" in dubrovnik. by which i mean this dude was waiting near a travel agents precisely to pick up travelers looking for accommodation. they were nice and the view from their place was pretty solid. it Was a million miles up in the hills near the walled city part.

wandering around Split, Croatia we happened upon this surrealist (to me) scene. im not sure what i expect to be happening, but its coming any second.

one clock reads 5:32. the other seems to read 7:30, but it is unclear. the bowls and cat dont seem to show any sort of current time.

this is what one of our days was like in croatia. on the rock beach, reading. for once i actually enjoyed it.
