A shot I took for my friend Philippe

My friend Philippe Cheng makes great unexpected photographs. I was shooting a factory in Piedras Negras, MX and saw an opportunity to tip my hat to him.

(p.s. the link is to his blog where he posts abstract photographs)

Day 339

el2_339

Weird. Flickr was just in Chinese for me, until I clicked the English link. On both computers. Whatever...it's back now.

I'm still sorting through everything from the weekend i spent with these dudes. I have my first wedding since that weekend in a couple of days and I'm quite interested to see how it goes with my new brain installed.

I may not get to post while out of town. DC bound tomorrow and shit it's gonna be cold.

Day 324

el2_324

So I went up to New York for a photo retreat with this lot here. John Dolan, Holger Thoss, and Philippe Cheng put on a nice little shin dig up in the Berkshires with a pretty killer crew. Not pictured is my new favorite person in life, Anne Watkins. She does amazing water colors. Hard to explain. Check out her flickr stream.
